Christology in Art

My sister and I have decided to go to an art museum for a special show they are having. We talked a lot about seeing God/Christ through the images. It was so wonderful discussing this with her. The Holy Spirit knits our minds together when we glorify Him in our conversations!

Well, AOL has ditched the journals feature and provided a link for me to import my old journal into this Blogger. So, I'm entering this just to test out the new app!

Another Advent

Another Advent , leading up to the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It has been almost a year since I made an entry. Somehow, Christmas just seems the perfect time to get back into it. Mother will be 80 this month and while she is not as mobile as she was last year she still goes to her doctor appointments and gets her hair fixed at Tommie's.

My sister is still the ever vigilant care taker and I have no doubt that Mother would not be alive if it were not for her.

She and her husband have bailed me out twice this year financially. First dental work and then prescription drugs that I have to take. They are so generous and I am so grateful to them for allowing Christ's glory to shine through them, what a blessing. My door latch broke on my car and I had to tie it up with a bungee cord to even be able to drive it. Mother came to my rescue and paid to have the door fixed.

A Long Time

A long time...it is Christmas. The anniversary of our Lord being born. Halleluah!

Another Day

It's been a while since I made an entry. Marie called an ambulance on May 10th to take Mother to the hospital and she finally got to go home yesterday. I spent the majority of my time at the hospital with Mother. She's doing OK. Just a bout with colitis. At least it gave Rhee a break from her.Cali certainly seemed to miss me a lot while I was at the hospital. Every time I came home she came out and loved on me.
